Privacy statement

This privacy policy provides information about what Nerdebutikken and VitenWahl AS collect and store about you who use our services. We want you to be able to easily get an overview of what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can contact us to get information about the information we collect about you.

What information do we collect?

We prefer to collect as little as possible. We don't think much of spying on our customers, so we don't do it. We collect the information you give us as a customer. That is, the one you enter at checkout. Without this, we could not send you the goods. We also store it after your goods have been sent. That's because the IRS will come and get us if we don't. And sometimes there may be a need to contact you. For example, if you have not collected your goods, or they are being returned, or a manufacturer is recalling a particular item for safety reasons.

If you have registered as a customer, the information about you is only stored so that we can automatically fill in shipping and delivery information about you in the checkout. We do this so you will save a few seconds. But there is no compulsion. What you do with the saved seconds is up to you.

If you have registered that you wish to receive our newsletter, we have also saved your email address in our newsletter list. Then you will receive a newsletter a couple of times a year. If you do not want our newsletters, just click "unsubscribe" in the email. Then you end up on the red list. That doesn't mean you're exterminated, but it's to make sure we never actually send you anything again. If you want us to delete you completely (from our system, not from the world), please email us.

How do we store the information we have about you?

We store the information in our ordering system, which is provided by Shopify . In addition, the information is stored in our invoice system, Tripletex . They and we promise on good faith that your information is safe and that unauthorized persons do not have access to the information you have given us. Cross on the neck, mother and father in death.

How can you find out how little we really know about you?

Single! You can send us an email at post@nerdebutikken.no , and we will send you everything we know. It's not much. You can't delete it either. The Accounting Act trumps the GDPR (at least as we understand it). But by all means, send us an email. Or a letter! We rarely get anything other than invoices in the mailbox, so if you would send us a letter and ask for the information we have about you, you give us a moment of joy in our everyday life. We take the phone home with us and have children and boyfriends who send stern looks when we work in our spare time. But then, dear friend, everything for the nerds in Nerdebutikken. If it is urgent to get an answer, we promise to answer the phone.
